Where is it?

SCHUNCK is situated at the Bongerd 18 in the centre of Heerlen. SCHUNCK has two entrances: The main entrance is situated at the Bongerd-side and a second entrance can be found close to the  Pancratiusplein (the square with the most terrances in town). Heerlen belongs to the Dutch provence Limburg.

What does my ticket give acces to?

Your ticket gives you entrance to our museum.
On saterdays and sundays it also gives you free acces to our guided tour at 11:30 am.
Furthermore, your ticket is a valid entrance for the Dutch Mining Museum (which is only a 15 minutes walk from SCHUNCK).

How do I get there?

Distance to Maastricht is about 25 kilometres,
Aachen (Germany) is only 20 kilomeres away and
Valkenburg aan de Geul 15 kilometres.

By car

From the train station it is a five minute walk to the museum: Leave the station at the city-centre side and turn left directly. You will pass the ‘maankwartier‘ building-site at your left hand side. Turn right on the second street onto the Saroleastraat, the main shopping street of Heerlen. At the end of this street you reach a square: the Bongerd. You will see SCHUNCK on the opposite side of the Square (look left).

Situated around our museum there are noumerous racks to park your bicycle. The closest guarded bicycle parking can be found at the Akenstraat 20, 6411 HA Heerlen.
